Thanks for the props boys, hope I can live up to it!

A couple early week 1 plays:

Cincy +3 -125 (buy the hook)
A buddy in Cincy says this game is sold out and the crowd will be rowdy. Cincy is pretty deep at the qb position, as Kitna could start on many teams. Cincy as a home dog is worth an early look, as they very well might be favored by game time, depending on NE's final qb rotation.

Oak -2

This could easily be -3 or more by gametime. Oak wants to put down their regional rival (marketing battle) and showcase their newest toys, Randy Moss and Lamont Jordan, even if they do play just a qtr, I expect one of them to score. Oak has a decent backup in Tuiasusopo, who has perfomed well in PS before. SF has new coordinators on BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL and a new head coach. Think the players will be up to speed on the new systems in week 1 of PS? Probably very vanilla play calling. Oak will have plenty of fans in stands for this one, eager to see their new look team, and might outnumber SF fans. I believe SF will work Alex Smith a lot in this game, and while he is talented, he is still a rookie.

...crush the Pat's in Cinci? (last year's pre-season)

Might be worth a ML play.

I will take you word for it, Sal. If that is the case, grab the points now. Cincy will be favored by game time.
